Now that’s holiday spirit!

I was sent this video a while back via email, and I just forgot to post it. This has to be the coolest display of Christmas lights that I’ve seen in a long time. It is set to the music of TSO. I’ll admit though that the first thing to pop into my head was “wow, this guy has too much time and money.”

Please right-click and hit “save-as.” That will allow you to view it directly from your computer, and not rely on your bandwidth (or mine for that matter). 🙂

The Exorcism of Emily Rose

Well I went to go see it last night, and I couldn’t wait to get home to write about it. I didn’t think it was going to be anything spectacular, but I thought it would be creepy. Well, it actually turned out to be pretty good. I usually don’t like movies of this genre, but this one was more than just a scary movie. It actually followed the court case of Father Richard Moore instead of just focusing on Emily Rose’s demonic possession. The character development of the lawyers, Father Moore, and Emily was somewhat atypical in this type of movie. Couple that type of characterisation with some eerie moments and you’ve got yourself a better-than-average “horror” flick. Having gone into it expecting very little, I was pleasantly surprised. I give it a 7/10.

A long time…

I know it has been a long time since I’ve posted anything, but life has been a little crazier than normal. Tomorrow I will have a bunch of things to write. I’ll be reviewing the new Coheed and Cambria CD (finally after listening to it about 150 times), reviewing the movie I saw tonight–The Exorcism of Emily Rose–and talking about other stuff as well.
