24

24. It’s a network television show in the United States. It’s how many hours are in a day. 1*24, 2*12, 3*8, 4*6, and so on. It also happens to be the amount of credit hours that I’m attempting this upcoming term. I took 21 hours this past fall, and it was quite difficult. Now, I’ve added another part-time job, and am taking an additional class. This all started last week when I was looking at my degree audit and realized that there was a mistake. I talked to my advisor about it, and we found that there was a class from which I withdrew that was still showing up as complete.

Why am I telling you all of this information regarding my upcoming schedule at Uni? Basically, I’m going to try my best to update the Z-Issue daily, or at least five times per week, but given my class load and work schedule, I may fall behind. If that happens, just shoot me an email and say “HEY! You need to update your blog!” 🙂

Just a little kernel humour

I don’t know if anyone other than Linux users / developers will appreciate this humour or not, but I thought it was hysterical. Two users on a forum were discussing some of the kernel configuration names. The first user asked a completely legitimate question:

What is CONFIG_USB_MON?

To which the second user responded:

A Jamaican USB configuration?

😀

Okay, so that may have been a really poor reunion post (given that the reunion is between me and this blog), but I found it amusing and wanted it to live on in infamy. 🙂

Craziness

Wow, it has been completely chaotic lately. I have been so busy that I haven’t even had a chance to blog! I have at least a few movie reviews to write, a couple funnies to include, and some serious debate that has been going on recently both nationally and internationally. I hope that maybe sometime within the next few days I will have a little more spare time to journal. Classes at Uni, and life in general, are keeping me on my toes, as usual. 🙂
