After yesterday’s somewhat gloomy post, I thought that it might be good to follow it up with a little bit of humour. A friend of mine sent me this great image depicting the sometimes vast distinctions between our expectations and reality:

This image actually made me think about when I was a kid and saw the film Homeward Bound. For several weeks thereafter, I considered what my cat would say if he were capable. Worse yet, some little part of me almost expected him to start talking to me. 🙄

Reminds me of the local church here in The Gap, Brisbane… had a sign up:
“Why didn’t Noah swat the two mosquitoes?”
I felt like sticking a little note to the bottom:
“Because the two frogs ate them.”
