New stuff

Hello all,

I have finally implemented the new theme here on the Z-Issue. I really enjoy this new look, and think that it is a little more modern than the last one. Also, I have put in a “Random Quote” box in the upper-right corner. Some of these quotes are funny, some are serious. I thought that delicate balance fit nicely with the whole “true affinity of intelligence and absurdity” tagline. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Let me know if you have some good quote recommendations for the box, or something else to be added to the blog modules.

In the upcoming weeks, I will be changing other aspects of the site. Some ideas with which I’m currently playing are: 1) a new category structure, 2) new icons for each of the categories, and 3) reorganisation of the links bar (with updated content). Again, let me know if you have any suggestions.

New look coming soon

Hello all,

I’m currently finishing up everything for the new look of the Z-Issue. I’m hoping to have everything done by the end of the week. It’s a new sleek style with some added functionality, new links, new buttons, and a bunch more cool stuff. I will make an announcement when it is done, but it should be readily apparent. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am still taking suggestions via email.

Better than Campbell’s Soup

Priceless…

For weeks a five-year-old boy kept telling his kindergarten teacher about the baby sister or brother that was expected at his house. One day the mother allowed her son to feel the movements of the unborn baby. The five-year-old was obviously impressed, but made no comment. Moreover, he stopped telling the teacher about the awaiting event. Finally the teacher sat the child on her lap and said, “Lucas, whatever has become of that baby brother or sister you were expecting at home?”

Lucas burst into tears and confessed, “I think Mommy ate it!”
