Chart for PhD program status

Hello all,

I thought that it might be a nice idea to make a chart of my current standings with each of the 8 PhD programs to which I applied. This chart is in rough alphabetical order by the university name, and contains columns for the school, consideration, short list, acceptance, and chosen. Obviously, if I was turned down at any point along the way, the subsequent columns will be marked with “non-applicable” (N/A). This chart will be updated as I receive notice from the different schools.

Openbox HOWTO entering finished state

After well over a month, I believe that my Openbox tutorial for Gentoo is nearing completion. I have the rough draft done with all the sections that I’m going to implement. It is available under the “Current Contributions” section of my developer site:

Another site for excellent artwork

Hello all,

As a member of DeviantART, I find myself constantly perusing that site for new wallpapers. Recently, another member there recommended another site to me for beautiful backgrounds. I find the interface of this site (pun intended) to be quite friendly and simplistic, and the artwork to be of exceptional quality. I just wanted to share the link:
