Just as a quick graduate school update, I did not make the short list at Nebraska-Lincoln. Unlike DePaul, I was a little stunned by this one.

Hello all,

I thought that it might be a nice idea to make a chart of my current standings with each of the 8 PhD programs to which I applied. This chart is in rough alphabetical order by the university name, and contains columns for the school, consideration, short list, acceptance, and chosen. Obviously, if I was turned down at any point along the way, the subsequent columns will be marked with “non-applicable” (N/A). This chart will be updated as I receive notice from the different schools.
