After watching the news a couple days ago, I realised that apparently nobody cares about proofing anymore. The story was about an elderly woman dying of heat exhaustion, but that isn’t what the screen headline reported:

Yeah, usually they are pretty good about catching things like this one. It was up on the screen for quite some time, so I pulled out my phone to snap a shot. 🙂

I spotted a spelling mistake on my local news channel’s scrolling headlines bar a month ago. Besides that they’re usually pretty good.
