Recently I posted about the rendering issue with LXterminal. I just found the confirmed bug report on LaunchPad for Ubuntu. It seems that the issue, then, is not distribution-specific. Therefore, I would imagine that the bug report should be filed upstream with the LXDE project. Once that is done, I will post a link to the issue.
