General Well today is my 25th birthday, and boy am I feeling old! Not all that old, in truth, but it seemed like the right thing to say. I'm hoping that this next chronological chapter in the book of my life plays out nicely. :-)

General Considering I have already started the cycling season, this post is a bit late. However, I thought it would be neat to track my progress on my blog. Therefore, I have placed a little HTML nugget in the right-side bar with my totals. I would like to travel 2000 km this season on my bike, and with the help of my handy little cycling computer, I can keep track of my total distance. As of right now, I have only gone 152 km, but I think that I can easily achieve my goal before the end of the summer months.

General A friend of mine posted a link to this video on his dA account journal, and I thought I would post it here as well. It is a video produced by American Museum of Natural History in association with NASA. It gives a little bit of perspective on how vast our known universe truly is, and although no video can adequately portray that vastness, this one gives a good idea. The most fascinating part of the film, in my opinion, is that it mentions that we there might be much more out there past the rim of our knowledge (past quasars).

I will provide two links below to the video (just in case one is taken down):

The Known Universe (on a subsection of NASA's website)

or

The Known Universe (on YouTube)

Provided your computer is capable of displaying HD, make sure to watch this video in 720p.
